Charging

1. Connect the one end of the USB cord to the unit, another end to your adapter, and then plug your adapter into electrical outlet. The LED charge light will turn red.
2. Charge-time should be about 3 hours, the LED charge light will turn green when charging finished.
3. Charge the unit for 2 hours after a long period of non-use (e.g. 2 months).

Testing

Hold the device with your right hand, with the light facing outwards. Put your thumbs at the oval switch position, and your index finger at the shock switch position.

Lighting function:

1. There are 3 notches for the oval switch, the middle notch is off.
2. Slide the oval switch up one notch to cause strong light, slide back and up again to lower light, slide back and up third time to flash light, repeat this cycle.

Electric shock function:

1. Turn on the ON/OFF switch at the end of the device.
2. Slide the oval switch down one notch, and press the shock switch for 2 seconds to cause electric shock.
3. Slide the oval switch off after using, and turn off the general switch at the end of the device.
4. If there is no powerful electric shock, please charge the battery for 3 hours.
5. Do not use the shock function continuously for more than 15 seconds.
6. After testing shock, you will need to discharge the unit. This is done by touching the unit probes against a piece of metal. You will see a final spark and then the unit will be safe.

Usage

1. When there is a certain distance from the potential assailant, you can use the strong lighting and flash lighting function to make the potential attacker temporarily lose vision, so that we have time to escape and protect ourselves.
2. When you are close to the assailant, touch your assailant’s body with the two contact probes while you are using the electric shock function.
3. Touching anywhere on the assailant’s body will have an effect. However, the maximum effective areas for usage are upper shoulder, below the rib cage, and the upper hip.
4. Touching an assailant for 3~5 seconds will cause loose of balance, mental confusion and disorientation, which should give you enough time to get away.
5. When touching the assailant’s body, you will not see spark or hear the shock noise.

Warning

1. Do not use the unit during charging time.
2. Keep away from the reach of children.
3. Do not shock metal objects, children, persons with heart attack, and vital part of body.
4. This device is only allowed to be carried by persons aged 18 and over.
5. Purchasers must only use the device in lawful manner for self defense.

Storage

The stun gun should be stored in dry and cool place.
